We love our little town and want to show you why you should, too. Set in the foothills of the Adirondacks and the home of Hamilton College, Clinton makes for a wonderful day trip to shop our shops, visit our restaurants, and enjoy some time on the green.
Read below to check out our favorites.
When I was first apartment hunting in Clinton, NY, we discovered Nola’s and it’s been a favorite ever since. You can’t go wrong with Chicken Nola, but definitely try any of their specials. Sit at the Chef’s Bar for a unique and delicious meal, and visit Steph at the bar for my number 1 choice, an old fashioned.
Our wonderful neighbor, Krizia Marin features quality brands including Barbour, Patagonia, and Vineyard Vines – in fact, they
have an entire VV Hamilton College line, so be sure to check it
out if you’re a student or parent!
Toys, gifts, cards, stationery, and more! A really cute shop to peruse and shop.
Bright and cheerful, Maria brought a lot of quintessential Italian charm to our tiny village. Her gelato is delicious and one of our favorite treats is an affogatto made with Peaks Coffee!
Alteri’s is a great bar and restaurant for family friendly food. Visit in the nice weather to sit outside and people watch. Our favorites: three cheese pizza and everything (extra crispy) wings.
Adirondack Cheese Co.
Really all you need is one word: YUM. I’m not a cheese lover, but my family and I love everything in this cute shop. Gift baskets, spreads, crackers, gifts – it’s a great stop for you or for a gift.
A wide range of goods, the Artisan’s Corner is a wonderful co-op featuring local artists and their goods.
You can’t go wrong with this family-owned business. Our favorite: The Bacon Bourbon Burger & pretty much every single ice cream option. Make sure to get a puppy pop for your pooch, too!
If there was a Cheers of coffeeshops, this would be it. The team is fantastic, the food and drinks delicious, and it’s always good to see a familiar face.
